Description: vintage 50s 60s Jantzen one piece knit swimsuit in an alternating hot pink/light pink stripe with a subtle floral motif in the background. metallic white thread woven into the knit gives it a bit of shimmer from a distance. classic mid 50s to early 60s style "V" neck high at front with low scoop back. gathered darts sides of bust. no fabric label - knit feels like it could be cotton blended with elastic & rayon which gives it a 2-way stretch and maybe a bit of acrylic which gives the knit its slight nubby texture condition: excellent vintage condition - strong, even color throughout, elastic in legs, skirt, arms and back strong & stretchy, no stains, holes or loose seams, stiff mesh cups with plastic boning mid-bust are misshapen (photographed inside out to show construction) as found - no attempt to repair, restore or alter suit in any way - all original tagged size 16 please refer to measurements taken flat lay approximate to confirm fit: underarm seam to underarm seam ~ 18"waist ~ 12"hips ~ 15"length ~ 21"/22" (mid crotch/total length from center front)
