Description: The is a Buffalo Dance Rib Kit produced in the US sometimes before the 1980s. The kit includes a 20" Buffalo Rib bone, 2 leather strings, a 13" imitation eagle feather, four bells, 3 pieces of trade cloth and a leather thong (according to the package.) The item is in plastic bag. The bag has tears from the bone and storage. All items listed appear to be inside the packaging. It is in as found condition, but all seems right with the item. This is a mock up of a traditional Lakota Native people's ritual item. This is an imitation of the Lakota peoples ceremonial item used in traditional ceremonial dances and other activities.
