Description: Vintage Christina Benham Original Indiana River Landscape Painting Small 3.875"H This gorgeous reduced size landscape oil or acrylic painting by Christina Benham will make an excellent addition to your collection. It features a small horizontal landscape scene in what appears to be oils and depicts an autumn fall Indiana river forest scene with tall trees displaying yellow & ochre tone foliage in front of a bluish green river & woods background. It is signed CB on the front and Christina Benham 1976 on the reverse. Will blend perfectly in collections containing Indiana Salon paintings, Midwestern landscapes, and other styles of American landscape paintings & prints. Please note that colors as shown in the listing photos may appear brighter/lighter than they are in person due to variations in how different device screens display colors...the yellows used in this painting are less lemon yellow and are more in the range of mustard, ochre, greenish-yellow, and brownish-yellow and are likely more dull looking in person than they appear on device screens due to the lighting required to capture textures & details. ITEM DETAILS: Approximate weight is 1 ozMeasures approximately 1/8" x 3-7/8" x 4-7/8" overall (roughly, as the canvas panel was not made in the square and is constructed at a bit of an angle)Condition: In vintage pre-owned used handmade condition with wear including worn canvas corners & edges, dulling, fading, dirt, dust, grime, stains, the canvas paper-board panel is warped/bowed (doesn't lie perfectly flat), some of the painting's surface texture is glossier than the surrounding areas, scratches, abrasions, dents, dings, scuffing, stains/discoloring, the back wood grain style covering is cut unevenly and has stains/areas of brown splotches, loose threads/fibers, fraying, the canvas panel corners are not square and the sides are not parallels to each other (the entire piece is out of square and at an angle), painting voids, worn away painted surface near the corners and edges and overall wear from age and handling.
