Description: This wonderful Girl Scout Doll is from the 1950s. This doll is GINGER made by Cosmopolitan Toy Corp., and is not a Vogue Ginny Doll. She has open/close blue eyes that need a bit of nudging, with molded lashes, rosy blush cheeks and rosebud lips. High color.She has a full, head of shiny dark brown hair with original curls. The doll has a hard plastic body and is jointed. The doll is a walker doll, when you move her legs her head turns from side to side. Approximately 7 3/4 " tall. The doll is wearing her Girl Scout outfit, from head to toe, consisting of her green dress, green belt, felt cap with emblem, green socks and brown plastic strap shoes. Her white undies are a little loose at the waist and fall down (could use a stitch or two). She has her original yellow bow in her hair, ( missing bow on other side of her hair). She is also wearing a yellow satin ribbon tie around her neck. She does not have her original box. This is not a play doll, but is more of a collector item. The doll and her clothing are in wonderful vintage condition. She looks almost brand new.
