Description: Very old Craftsman Tombstone Toolbox. Crown Logo, Two latches on front that still work perfectly. The handle is metal, not magnetic, sturdy and strong. The metal handle and the crown logo with the black border (no red border) date this toolbox to the late 1950s, probably 1958-59. Sears started using the plastic handles after that. It has been well-used, that’s for sure. Yet it is still solid and serviceable in all respects. There is some surface rust inside and on the bottom. Scuffs and scratches all over outside. The steel is solid throughout. Restore it or keep it as is with character. At only 3-1/2” tall it will fit in a lot of places. There is a socket divider inside, 16” long. These did not come with a tray. There is a sticker on the side that reads: SEARS, ROEBUCK AND CO. 4409 16 PIECE SOCKET SET Don’t know if that was bought with the toolbox or later, but not included here. Shipped same or next day and packed carefully. Thanks. Plp
