Vintage Haeger Low-Profile Ceramic Planters

Description: Fabulous new-old stock, vintage Haeger (or Royal Haeger, as a couple of pieces bear the Royal Haeger sticker). These are low-profile planters of second quality. They are unused. Some bear the Haeger Second Quality sticker as none of them passed quality control but the defects are very minor and add to their charm. All were beautiful enough to be sold from the factory store. Each piece is marked Haeger 882 on the underside. They are footed and bear 3 unglazed marks on the bottoms, from the firing process. Examples of defects may be a missed glaze spot, a single tiny chip, or glaze pops. See photos for details. Use them to organize small things like your keys and other trinkets, or grow a window herb garden, Bonsai, or succulents. Depth is 2 inches. Actual date of production is not known but they were purchased from the factory store in the 80s or early 90s. The Haeger factory in East Dundee, IL, was shuttered in May 2016, after 145 years of continuous operation.
