Description: Modernist / Brutalist Monks made by Jaru Pottery. This is an amazing pair of figures with hoods, one holds a book (bible?) and one holds a bird (dove?). The shorter one has a cross at the waist. Their sandaled feet show under their robes. These are made a plastic resin composite. The shorter one is approximately 10 inches high, the taller one is just over 12 inches. They are in wonderful condition.
