Vintage MCM Zephyr Autodex Slide Pop Open Address Phone Organizer Advertising

Description: This is a vintage Zephyr Autodex Slide Pop Open address organizer, with the name of a business in Nashville, Tennessee. I believe it is bakelite. As you may know, you move the slide to the letter of the alphabet for the name of the person you are looking for, then press the button at the bottom, and the top opens up like a clamshell to the correct paper card section. This one has some condition issues. Main one is that the slide mechanism is wonky, works sometimes and requires some fiddling with the cards holder inside for it to work again. I examined the mechanism underneath, and a tiny rivet head is broken off where the slide button attaches to the rail mechanism. Other flaws:-A few scratches on the bakelite case-cards have been used, they have some inked address & phone information-the cards have been disattached from their binding (inside top), though it doesn't affect the pop up effect (when it works).
