Description: Up for Sale is a Vintage Pair of NEW OLD STOCK MENS Black Pointy Toe GREASER Style FLAMINGO Boots from the Mid 1960s. I bought these New back in the 1960s in Manhattan on 14th Street at the John Hardy Shoe store. They were made in Spain and are size 8 1/2 with D width. I usually wore size 9 but these boots were cut a little larger and the 8 1/2 size fits me well. I bought 2 pairs at the time and only slightly used 1 pair that I still have. This pair that I'm listing is still in its original box and was never worn and has been safely stored away all these years. As can be seen in the pictures, they are in Pristine New condition. Even the box is in great shape with only a small tear on the box top. These style boots were worn by myself and many of my friends who were considered the cool greasers then. We usually dressed with tight black Chinos and Black Banlon shirts and these boots or other pointed toe shoes. In many of the early 1960s Elvis movies, he can be seen wearing this boot style. All I can say is that these boots especially in this condition in the box are very rare and extremely hard to find. They are a great early 1960s fashion collectible and can be worn by any guy wanting to emulate the great era of the early 1960s.They are genuine early 1960s Cool Guy shoes.
