Description: OK....This is either a refinished vintage sonor performer or swinger shell pack. 13"x9" 16"x16" 22"x14" Thus kit has been refinished in white marine pearl. It has filled holes - seen in interior shell pictures. Previous owner has attempted staining the beech wood shells red - as can be seen in the shell interiors pictures. Not pretty - but put some coated heads on the kit and it's no issue. The bass drum has more recent sonor brand gull wing - style spurs. Solid as a rock with memory locks. The 13" rack tom has a rims mount fitted. All prior holes filled and wrap over top. The 16" floortom has original sonor brand leg brackets - but the tension rods are replaced with remo brand t rods. All drums have the modern script sonor badges. All drums have METAL lugs NOT plastic. Toms have slotted sonor rods and original hoops. Bass drum will come with both the refinished steel hoops it came with - and a pair of black wood hoops with wmp wrap inlay that's a near- ish match. The tom arm in some of the pics has been replaced with a tama arm that fits the fittings on tom and bass drum. All in all - a solid sonor beech shell shell pack. Holes from previous fittings have been previously filled before the decent re wrap job in white marine pearl. *** THE ORIGINAL OWNER HAS CONTACTED ME THROUGH EBAY AND TOLD ME WHAT FOLLOWS**** Hi, I refurbished this kit, thought you might be interested in more history? I bought the shells bare in red stain. I sourced the nut boxes, leg holders, lugs, hoops and badges mostly off eBay and bought those new style spurs. Gareth Heeley at Highwood Drums in Wakefield rewrapped it for me and plugged the Tom holder holes in the bass drum as I wanted to have an undrilled bass . He installed the spurs. I sold it to Rock Factory in Castleford who put a Tom holder back on it and sold it on again. The shells were sold to me as Sonor Champion I think. Cheers! SO THERE YOU GO!!
