Description: I think this dates to around 1949. This is a high quality piece of vintage jewelry crafted in solid 10KT yellow gold. The back of the pin indicates it was from the Lamda Iota chapter at the University of Kentucky, I believe. This measures about 5/8 of an ich across and it weighs 3.54 grams. It has a ruby for the snake's eye. It is in excellent condition with not damage to the enamel.
