The bowl has an embossed repousse design, and looks to be a ceremonial bowl. The bowl is marked on the underside of the base. The item is made of Sterling Silver. The bowl has a weight of about 298.5 +/- grams on my digital scale (see photo). The bowl is decorated with animals that look to represent the 12-year Thai Zodiac cycle. The bowl may be used in Buddhist rituals (see photos and determine the use of the bowl). The item looks to be Asian in origin, from Thailand (see photos). The item is vintage. This silver bowl is from an estate liquidation. The bowl measures about 4 inches high and it is about 6.75 inches wide.
