Description: A medium sized mid-century transit glass shade. These have been used as either pendant or mounted ceiling fixture shade applications. The design was popularized mid-century, mimicking the functional intent of antique transit glass where ribs / ripples in the glass were intended to project light further from the shade, deeper into a room. The pictures show it as lighted with a "vintage" incandescent bulb. It would show much whiter if an LED light was used. Measurements are 6 & 1/2" tall, 8 & 5/8" wide, with a fitter size of 4".
