Description: Vintage 1969 Whitman Storybook Kiddles Sweethearts 8 Paper Dolls with 6 stands (missing 2 stands) and most clothing (missing 4 peices) Note - I have compared all of the pieces to an original set that is available on-line and determined that the following 6 pieces are missing (1) blue hat (from page 1 of the clothing pages in the original book) (2) blue and yellow dress with cape (from page 3 of the clothing pages in the original book) (3) blue dress with red trim (from page 4 of the clothing pages in the original book) (4) green and yellow dress (from page 6 of the clothing pages in the original book) (5) Missing the stand peice for both Robin Hood and Maid Marion Overall, considering that the dolls / clothing are from 1969 they are in pretty good condition. There are some creases and folds from being used. These are mainly folds/creases to the attachment peices used to secure the clothing to the doll. Some of the clothing peices need some trim work as the original owner did not fully trim all of the pieces. You will note that the dolls and clothes have numbers written on the back in pen - I believe the original owner did this to know which clothes went with which doll. One doll has a peice of tape on the back and one of the dresses is missing the attachment peices. When reviewing all of the individual pieces I found that the actual paper clothing show very little signs of wear apart from where they were folded to attach. The book has a lot of signs of wear including sticker residue, worn edges, etc. In addition, the original owner inserted and stapled cardboard inside the front and back cover of the book to allow the cut dolls and clothing to be stored. Please review all pictures carefully as they are considered part of this listing in reference to the exact item you are purchasing and its overall condition.
