Description: For sale is a vintage Gerstner & Sons, Model No. 052, eleven drawer oak machinist chest. The chest, overall is in very good condition. The chest has received a mild, not a complete restore. The finish was not stripped and refinished. The chest had a good finish, but was soiled and dull. After cleaning, oiling and waxing, the finish is in a condition a chest of this quality, condition and age deserves. Plated hardware has been removed, cleaned and polished, none are rusty or damaged. Any component that was damaged or missing was replaced with genuine Gerstner and Sons component direct from Gerstner. All the felt has been replaced with new, Hunter Green felt. A new key was obtained from Gerstner and works well in the original Gerstner lock.
