The ruffled top of the globe is in a beautiful accent to the hand painted milk glass with pink roses. The top globe easily removes with a twist knob. The bottom globe is lit with a smaller bulb that is cinched in and out by hand with a metal squeeze holder (similar to the lights used in Holiday Cottages/Houses). A little roughness at the neck (bottom) of the top guide. No chips or cracks detected. Metal portions of the lamp have not been cleaned, and you will see in the pictures the discolorations.
