Description: This is a lovely remnant piece of MARIMEKKO fabric that was designed in 1960 and reissued at the turn of the 21st Century. Designed by famed Finnish artist, Maija Isola, “Tulipunainen” is a subtly striped cotton featuring an abstract botanical print in tonal aqua, green, blue. It is in good/uncut, vintage condition and comes from a smoke/pet-free home. Selvage-to-selvage, the fabric is 57” wide. The total length is approximately 67”. Slightly short if two yards, there is plenty of fabric for a top or other small sewing project.
