I got these as a child in the 1960's on a trip to NYC. They show wear from years of display and storage. There is a windmill and sailboat on the top of each - Looks like it was more like decoupage or a sticker of some sort rather than hand painted. Shoes measure approximately 5.5 x 2.25 x 2.5 inches. Original ribbon that ties them together. One scene shows a chipped area. Says made in Holland on bottoms. Although show areas of soil and wear (especially on tips), they still make a nice display.
