Description: Hello, For your consideration I'm offering a three bladed medium Stockman pattern pocket knife made by the W.R.Case & Sons Cutlery Company Bradford, Pennsylvania. This knife measures 3 5/8 " in the closed position and features chip & crack free exceptional genuine India Stag. This knife has never been used carried or the blades resharpened. The blades are made of Case's famous highly polished high carbon Stainless Cutlery Steel known for its ability to hold a keen edge and for its stain resisting ability as well. As the name implies, it will stain less. The blades have good opening and closing snap with no side-to-play while in the open position. This knife has nickel silver bolster with solid brass pins and liners. Please see pictures for tang markings and condition. 1995 was the first full year that Case converted back to the dot dating system. They were using the date stamp in half of 1994. The beautiful Stag used on this knife is cherished the world over by the most demanding type of collectors, because the Stag is extremely rare and comes from the Chital Deer which is found in the forest of western India. The Stag is denser and has considerably more character along with a rich texture and is flame treated to seal the surface and enhance the natural beauty of the Antlers.
