Description: Here's something really neat, a WW2 WX report or Met. Rep. It was brought home by Navigator Fred Williamson of Banff Alberta. He was a Sergeant Navigator, later Flying Officer when the RCAF quite correctly commissioned all of their flight crews. Williamson trained at No.2 bombing and Gunnery School at Mossbank Sask. Now this sheet is interesting as it was taken on the plane with the navs. so there was scant information on it. No dates, no aircraft designations, no geographical information apart from the two coded headings you see: 292320A and 292330A. Those were likely way points or target designations known only to the nav. The figures are something I can't read but some abbreviations make sense like SC for scattered cloud, BRKS for breaks, etc. You see some numbers with arrows beside them. These would be wind directions. You can see the last three lines are identical to the first three so I suspect a typrinter machine just banged these out endlessly for the navs of each plane in the squadron and they were torn off and handed out at preflight briefings. Anyway, it's a neat item, a genuine WW2 Met. Rep. so bid til it hurts! Good luck and thanks for looking at another sale by The Mighty Atom.
