Description: This is a lot of six (6) song books from World War I. Not surprisingly, most of the songs are very patriotic and religious. Three (Old Favorite Songs) were produced by the Buckeye State Building and Loan Company in Columbus, Ohio. These three appear to have the same content (music & lyrics), just different colored covers. The “Songs of America” feature a flag on the cover and are duplicates. They were published by the City National Bank of Columbus, Ohio. Not only do they have music and lyrics, these two also include a few pretty famous speeches. The sixth in this lot is titled “Year Book of School Music 1917.” It contains both music and words to “school music… for all grades.” All are in very good to excellent condition.
