David served with No. 87 Squadron RAF during WWII. He was credited with destroying 11 enemy planes during the Battle of France. He also fought in the Battle of Britain and the Burma Campaign. His combat decorations include the OBE, DFC (UK) and the Air Force Cross (UK). I've been collecting military signatures for well over 50 years.
